Telecentric lenses in industrial image processing

Canrill Optics has concentrated as a manufacturer on telecentric lenses for demanding tasks in industrial image processing. The fourth product generation is currently available as the PTL series in modular design, which allows any combination of fields of view and image fields on both sides (object side FOV 37-390mm; image side FOV 8-82mm). There is a choice of fixed or variable aperture, whereby simple adaptation to all common camera mounts is always guaranteed. For limited installation space, a 90° deflection is available for many variants. The range is rounded off with telecentric illuminators to match all lenses.

Canrill has its origins in China and has a very high vertical range of manufacture with its own locations for development, production for optics and mechanics as well as assembly. In contrast to many competitors, high stock levels ensure fast delivery times. For custom-made products, a service ensures that customised lenses can be manufactured from design to finished product in 12 days. If application solutions for lenses without telecentricity are required, Canrill offers, for example, the MH series, which can be used for very high magnifications at long working distances or fixed focus without a diaphragm - interesting for applications with a lot of space between object and lens.

Founded in 2009, Canrill Optics has focused on manufacturing and marketing telecentric lenses and telecentric lens designs in China. As a market leader in telecentric technology, they are already making their mark on the local optical metrology market, strengthening distribution in Europe with Ziemann & Urban.
